My holidays

In the second week of the holidays we went to Lake Tarawera near Rotorua. We stayed near the blue lake.  I went with my mum,  nana and sister. 

The blue lake was really  clear and there was lots of black swans.  The  birds were swimming in the lake there was lots of them.  There was two big fat wood pigeons and sparrows up the tree. 

We went to the lowjs in roterrower. My nana, mum, hannah and me went down the low. My nana and mum was screaming down the lows it was so funny. I crasht in to the people in front of me.

We drove past the gissors it was rank,  it smelt like rotten eggs mixed with a fart.  It was discussing. The gissors would pop out of everywhere.  It stunk you could  smell them it town.  You could not get away.

In our workshops I chose tasks to help me practice making and using and writing fractions

Journey to Pluto

Task: write a set of instructions on how to get from Earth to a planet of your choice.

WALT:

- a chosen planet’s location in the solar system.

- a chosen planet’s distance from earth.

- planets you will pass by to get to the chosen planet.

- obstacles that may be on the journey, e.g. Atmosphere, moons...

This is my story. I had to include a duck, jandals and key.

                                              Once upon a duck                                                                                                   Once there was a duck. His name was Donald. Every gorilla liked him. He will tell you a story now. Well back in the younger  days. He was a white duck.He live in a pondo well that is what

 he Called it. He liked his rainbow jandals but one slight problem the gorillas didn't like them because  you know gorillas are sooo fussy. So one day he went for a walk and got a key stuck on his foot AAAA. Someone caught him And put him in a cage. He got very  scared and worried. Someone took him to a white room. He was so scared the lady took the key off his foot and noticed the Rainbow jandals and Said what a weird duck
